Gravitii Technologies May 2024 [Release Notes]

release notes

Once again, we’re excited to be announcing that our latest release was deployed on May 1st. This release represents our fourth official release since going to market in August 2023. The focus of this release was to add features to help reassure those seeking care when choosing a care provider.

Below, we will highlight these latest features so that you may benefit from them, whether as a client seeking care or as a provider.

Background Clearance Checks:

Gravitii has integrated with CERTN, a background check platform, so that providers now have the option to get a variety of background checks completed. This includes an identity verification check, a soft check, criminal record check and a driver’s abstract. People seeking care can now choose a provider with greater confidence knowing that they are in good hands with a trusted professional.

Proof of Liability Insurance and Worker’s Compensation Coverage:

It’s always a good idea for providers to carry the necessary insurance coverage should something unexpected happen while caring for others. Providers now have the option to provide proof of liability insurance and WCB so clients can feel more at ease.

Social Ratings and Reviews:

Clients can now choose to rate and review providers to help other people seeking care make more informed decisions about who they want as their care providers. Let’s face it, other peoples’ opinions and experiences matter!

“New” Provider Indicator:

Sometimes it can be confusing for clients to remember which providers they’ve seen already in their search results. To make it a little easier, we’ve added a new “NEW” indicator so people seeking care can check out providers they haven’t viewed before!

Automated Documentation Expiry:

Providers must keep themselves up to date with their documentation so that clients know they are current. That’s why we’ve added documentation expiry dates. Providers will now receive notifications to update existing documents in their profile, whether it’s their BC Care Aide registration confirmation letter, proof of liability insurance or WCB.

Reason for failed documentation:

Sometimes we don’t always do things correctly! To help providers understand why a document they have uploaded to their profile has failed verification, we’ve added in a reason into the document failure notification. This makes it easier for providers to understand why so they know what to do to get their documents verified.

Coming Soon…

Our mission at Gravitii is to aim to improve the client and provider care experience by finding solutions through our technology. Here is what you can expect in future releases:

  • Concierge Role – In collaboration with non-profit seniors’ organizations, retirement resorts and residences, we will be building out a third-party role to help more vulnerable clients find the care they need.
  • Reports – We all pay taxes, so it only makes sense to have reports for both clients and providers to download and print off for their tax filings.

Plus, so much more…stay tuned!
